How to get achieve gold medals

From 12 November to 27 November, 2010 Asian Games was held in Guangzhou China. For 15 days, all athletes who participated in the game tried their best to perform well. For sportsman, their greatest success might be winning gold medal in international competitions whether they play alone or in team. When talking about team sports, in order to achieve the glorious gold medal, there are several causes that can lead sports teams to the first place. In my opinion, those causes can be the will of each player and cooperation of whole team.

Considering a successful sports career is winning gold medal, the will of each player is very important. This makes sense for other jobs as well but athletes in particular need the mind of strong will to participate and practice. Since sports career involves both physical and mental hardship, athletes should have strong will in order to not lose concentration and focus on practicing. Athletes who lack such mind undergoes difficult time when concentrating on their practice and eventually give up. The world's leading figure skating player Kim Yuna has been suffering from physical hardship and mental pressures ever since she started figure skating. However, with full support of her mother, she never gave up and rather tried hard to focus. She could do it because she had strong will inside her mind. As a result, she became the Queen of figure skating and is truly the world's best figure skater. She achieved many gold medals and performed numerous amazing plays. Kim Yuna is just one example among many. Like her, athletes should strong will in their mind no matter how hard their career is.

When talking about team sports, the most significant key to winning each game is cooperation. If team members fail to cooperate with each other, there is no chance of winning the game. Cooperation is not at all easy as it seems to be. Each member should know and understand each other well in order to communicate during games. Cooperation is not just playing together only during the game, but it is getting close together with each other in normal life. In 2010 Guangzhou Asian Game, Korean baseball team won the first place after all the game with other countries. The most important point here is that each baseball members maintain very close relationship with each other in daily life. They are close, know each other well, thus understand each other well. In that way, they would be able to perform better and smoother during the game and brings about good result. Acting together well will lead the team to victory.

Although there are several other causes that can also affect success of sportsman, the main causes are the will of players and cooperation of the team. With these two conditions, teams would be already half way ahead of other team. This is not just a theory but many sportsman agree with this. There are numerous barriers that hinder athletes from achieving their goal, but with these two things kept in their mind, they will be able to obtain their goal of grabbing the gold medal and eventually succeed in their sports career.

Why the JYJ Concert Was Not Successful

        Last Saturday, the Korean male singer group JYJ held a concert at Jamsil main stadium. Scores of thousands of fans were there, including some fans from abroad. However, many articles says that it was not successful. I worked for the concert as a Japanese interpretation staff, and I know what were the reason. There are two main causes that brought the unsuccessful concert.
        The first reason was the hard weather. They planned a big laser show, so they covered the opened ceiling of the main stadium with the white material and it costed about a billion won. The weather was clear until Friday, so members of JYJ could rehearse the concert for about 17 hours. However, at the Friday night, hail was hammered down onto the roof of the stadium. On the Saturday morning, the roof was collapsed so staffs had to clear the giant materials away. Also, so many chairs are broken because of the weight of the collapsed roof. Therefore, we had to change all of the broken chairs, and it made the concert delay.
        The second reason was the surroundings of the stadium. Around the stadium is residential districts, so it is banned to perform the concert after the 10 o'clock at night. JYJ could not do the laser show because of the collapsed roof, so they changed their programs and rehearsed the concert again. At that time, the concert was already delayed a lot. Finally, they decided not to do the encore concert, and they sang all of their prepared songs with a rush, including encore songs. The concert was ended at the right time narrowly. Of course fans didn't know what is the encore song because they sang all the songs at once, so they got anger because they thought the JYJ didn't performed encore concert.
        Because the bad weather and the surroundings of the stadium are combined together, it made the situation worse. Many fans and guests had to wait a long time shivering with heavy cold, so the concert was not that successful. A lot of journalists just know about the result, so they criticize members of the JYJ made the delay and they didn't performed encore concert on purpose. However, I know that it was not their fault, and they did their best to made best programs in short urgent time. Maybe JYJ have to refer to these situations and explain the causes, so that some journalists have to understand the situation.

SUCCEEDING STRAREGIES IN SELF-HELF BOOKS

 

 

 

 For last two or three years, there was a rapid increase in the sales of self-help books in Korea. It is said that this is because Koreans began to think that they can change their life into being successful. Though the public attention for self-help books is a recent phenomenon, in human nature there always has been a strong desire to succeed in some part of their life from a long time ago. Everybody wants to succeed in whatever they want to be successful. Even the authors of self-help books which people often read to get an advice for successful life cannot stop being concerned about whether her or his book can attract people. Looking into seven books (THE SECRET, THE STORY OF MARSHMALLOW, A MORNING PERSON, THE TECHNIQUES OF TAKING NOTES, THE JANITOR, THE CONSIDERATION, OUTLIERS) which have been so popular in Korea from the point it was published that most people know at least its title until now, I found something very interesting: They have strategies in common that makes their books attractive to people.

 

 The first thing that commonly appeared in the books is that the authors wrote what he or she knows a lot and specialize those contents. This can give two advantages to a self-help book. If an author writes what he or she majored in or has studied for a long time, the reader of his or her book tends to believe what the author says to them. For example, A MORNING MAN was written by Saishow Hirosi who graduated the international college of bedding and is now the representative of the center for a morning life. For this reason, he can give many tips for avoiding failures in changing one's habits especially in using the morning time. In his book, A MORNING MAN, his words can have a strong power because he can prove what he argue about by giving the results of his research on changing a night man into a morning man. As a result, people can feel easier to believe his words, trust him and finally open their minds to listen to him. As for specializing, I found almost all of the seven books specialized the idea that can be summarized into just a few words: Change what you're thinking and just DO it! However, they are actually showing very different contents. For instance, THE SECRET makes this sentence the secret, as it shows in its title. The author says that what you believe is going to happen to you and it is THE SECRET. Also, THE STORY OF MARSHMALLOW is another case of specializing. It represents a marshmallow to explain potential barriers which stop people to go on to success. These specializing of contents can help making the ideas of the books seems new and different from the self-help books published before. Continuously, this allows the books to be more interesting to the readers.  

 

 After attracting people's interest what the seven books do is to give them motivation to change. When I looked into the online reviews of the books, most of the readers say that they like the book because it gives them motivation. In other words, what the readers need was being interested, actual reading, and being moved by the books. Briefly, the books chose two different ways to motivate the readers. Some of them tried to assure the readers of their argument by giving realistic, practical examples or highly possible effects it would make. One of the books which used examples successfully was THE SECRET. The book contains the cases of twenty four people who are widely accepted as having succeeded and, by the author's view, used the secret well enough to reach the success. This includes Jack Canfield, the author of CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL and John gray who wrote MEN FROM MARS AND WOMEN FROM VENUS. On the other hand, THE TECHNIQUES OF TAKING NOTES chose to let people understand making to take a note into a habit would definitely change the readers' life. The book gives effects which the habit would make and the reasonable explanation on them to motivate people. Meanwhile, some books motivate people by allowing them to identify characters in the books. THE JANITOR and THE CONSIDERATION made the interesting stories to make people identified. THE MORNING PERSON use similar strategy, using the actual stories of some night men. All of the three used stories to make people motivated because as reading the difficult situations and the bad cases which the characters of the stories experienced would remind a reader the similar experience the person actually went through. From then identifying goes on and it gives the readers the idea that they can be changed like the main characters of the books.

 

 From the seven books we can find that for making a self-help book be loved for a long time, the author would better to write what they really know, specialize it, and then use a lot of examples of actual persons, possible effects, or even stories to motivate the readers. Actually this is a long, difficult way to go. However, I think what the authors of the books did in common could be summarized into a word: Conversation. They made people open their mind and listen to them by concerning what would the readers want to hear.

I think everyone have differences standard about successful as well as may have lots of successful. such as someone who have a big dream and when he dreams come ture that's called successful, and the other one is during someone who living in this world and always have purpose to do something and when he already done that's called successful.

 

For me I already have three successful things, First is I already passed exam for going to high school. In china exam for entrance high school difficult than the university entrance exam. that's why we have to study hard evermore the competitive power very strongly. But I did, I had entranced into high school before I went to high school everyday study hard I never separate with chair almost living with chair.

 

Second is got IELTS score, which is means International English Language Testing System because I want go to Australia that's why I need that score and also at least got 5.0point. In that time I never got good score when I study in high school. But I seriously focus on IELTS study I think I never study hard like in that time. Therefore I got 5.0point prepare go to Sydney study.

 

Third is go to sydney, For chinese get visa very difficult things the reason why china is a populational country and for get visa have a boundary line about chinese. though if I got high score in IELTS I did not got luck and the other qualification I could not went to study. so that is my successful story during in this time.

Successful life   Some people say they might feel succeed if they become millionaires. Others define successful life as becoming well-known person. For me, it is little bit different from those concepts. If I asked that what successful life is, I would say that being mentally satisfied and pleasant is one key and sharing the happiness with others is the other. There are two ways to live such life; do what is your favorite and share what you already have with others. In order to live a successful life, people should find the job that makes them excited. As doing the job makes them happy, they might work harder than before. Because of the hard work, money, honor and ability follow before they know. According to a research, only a one person became a millionaire among 845 people who thought money is more important than what they want. However, 100 people became a millionaire among 255 people who prefer their desire to money. This shows that choosing a job that they really want can live not only a successful life but also other things. The other factor to love a successful life is to share what they already have with others, because one person can have a positive effect on one or more. Let's assume that there is a famous singer who likes to share his talent with others and the feeling after he did. He might sing a song for the old and the poor or hold a concert to raise money for charity. This good deed can be a motive for others to do the similar activity and many people can imitate his behavior. In conclusion, two factors to live a successful life are finding an exciting job and sharing one's talent. Therefore, people have to think carefully when they think of their future. In addition, people won't easily give up their job which is exciting and can help others when they face some obstacles.

Many people dream a life of financial success or more simply said, they dream of being rich. They really care about having lots of money and having the financial means to do what they want in their life. Unfortunately, for many that dream will be an utopia. Many blame it to their low salary or having no luck in life to achieve that goal. The truth is far from that. Then how comes that some people who were in the same circumstances were able to achieve that dream? The answer is simple. They are good in saving money and they live below their means.

                  That's why knowing how to save money and living belong one's means makes a big difference in the road to financial success. For example those who learned during childhood how to save money and its importance, will keep having that habit when they become an adult. They realize that saving money is not only important to have some extra cash for the bad times, but also that it can be used to make their fortune grow. They can use a part of their savings to invest when an investment opportunity rises up. Therefore saving money will not only lead to financial certainty, but also to financial success by using the saved money to gain more wealth.

                  The second requirement to live below one's means is also important to make one's dream to financial success to come true. However, many people do the opposite and live well above their means. They spend more money than they earn. As a result, they have to apply for a loan to pay off their debt. After that they have to apply another loan to pay off their first loan and then a third loan to pay off their second loan and so on. Like this people become slaves of their own debt and they have to keep working their whole life to pay off their loans. This will cause for people to fail in their finances and never achieve financial success. The best way to avoid this is living below one's means and be careful about spending money. That's why living below one's means is another important factor to financial success.

                  Knowing how to save money and living below one's means are two causes that will help to lead to success in finances. Saving money will lead to financial certainty and freedom to invest and gain some extra wealth. Living below one's means however will make sure that people don't spend too much money. Therefore they won't make unnecessary debts that will only lead to failure in making their dream come true.

A friend who always supports me, a teacher who always gives me valuable tips in life, a colleague who is very funny to work with…. There are all examples of the precious relationships in life. Everybody wants to live the life with the successful human relationships. But they often overlook some simple facts to succeed in human relationship. To succeed in human relationship and have wonderful friends, there are two major things to remember.

The first thing to remember is the trust. The trust is the most important thing in relationships. To be sincerely close with someone, you must gain the trust from him. Once you gain the trust, more than half is done. He will share everything with you, depending much on you. If he is someone who is related in your work thing, he will give you every important work. To gain the trust, you should also show him how much you trust him. You should show him that you think him as a trustworthy, sincere person. And also, you should always listen to him.

 And the second thing you should remember is the respect. The respect is also very important thing. Everyone wants to feel that he/she is respected by someone. Think in his shoes, think what you've said, and think about every little behavior you did every moment. Think just once more before you say something. Whatever you said or behaved, it should be the respectful act. The closer you get to someone, you should be more considerate.

 Those two things are simple, but quite hard to remember and put into action. Even I know that fact. But if you do those two things, I am sure that you could have successful relationships.
