Chicken sandwich

 In my senior year, when I was preparing for college entrance examination, I had a very difficult time keeping good condition. Staying in good condition was very important in order to concentrate hard when studying. As I was very tired of studying everyday unable to do what I want, it was not easy to maintain good condition. To my surprise, however, there was one thing that made me feel energetic and eager to study. That is chicken sandwich, which is my favorite food.

 There is only one reason to how chicken sandwich helped me study harder and became my favorite food. It is fantastic taste of chicken sandwich. The taste of it really stimulated my desire to eat delicious food in the toughest time of my life. It is very important to note that at the time I was in a very tired and harsh situation due to toughness of studying for college entrance examination. I desperately needed something for a diversion and that was chicken sandwich. One day, I decided to eat sandwich for dinner before heading to English class after school. So, I bought a chicken sandwich in Parrisbagutte and ate it right away. At first bite, I did not recognize, but at second bite, I was totally obsessed by the taste of it and at the moment it became my favorite food. Tenderness of chicken, freshness of vegetables, coolness of tomatoes, and softness of bread amazed me instantly. I could understood how delicious food can make people feel happy. The tasty sandwich seriously made me happy and joyful. This could be possible because I appreciate the quality, or the taste of food rather than the quantity. From that day, I constantly ate chicken sandwich and could study hard due to happy feelings.

 Although it is quite an irony how I found my favorite food during my toughest time, chicken sandwich helped me a lot when I was preparing for the college entrance examination. Right now, I still am addicted to it and still desire to eat it at least twice a week. In deed, Parris baguette is the place I visit the most during week days, since chicken sandwich of it is the most delicious in my personal opinion.

I don't have strongly like food or strongly dislike food. Because I can enjoy all of nutrition food even though which flavor I don't like, that is viscera especially liver. when I eat sundae they always ask me want add some viscera, therefore because of they always asking I decided try to eat for onece. As expected I almost throw up But mother told me these viscera good for health, As result I eat them, But I don't want eat again.

 

 I can not point my strongly like food. Because I am really can eat and too much. But among them the name of Malatang cant leave me. Which is chinese food and from part of Sichuan province in china. That food mix kinds of vegetable and noodle make spicy like korean jjamppong, But there are different spicy flavor. When I live in china I eat Malatang almost everyday that's why I got serious disease with stomach and went to hospital got lots of pills. And because I really like malatang I can find that anywhere even hough in korea.

  

 Not only like or dislike we have to eat everything except bad healthy food. And which is your strongly like food is bad healty food, you have to change.

Sashimi Swimming in my Head

 

             As strange as it may sound, every time I watch the movie, "The Little Mermaid", I would become hungry. Why? Because I am crazy about seafood! I have eaten and liked almost every seafood since I could chew. Especially, my favorite is sashimi, which is fresh raw fish sliced into thin pieces.

             The reason I started to eat sashimi at such a young age is my grandparents. They have been living in a fishing village. When I visited them, they caught plenty of fish and prepared sashimi for me. Sometimes I used to take a fishing boat with my uncle, catch the fish at the sea and eat sashimi on the boat. In order to prepare sashimi, first of all, he made cuts along the backbone of fish to the tail, and then pulled the filet away from the body of fish. Next, both the fins and the skin were removed. He pinched the tail side and slid the knife between the skin and the meat. After my uncle sliced off thin piece, finally I could eat sashimi. It always satisfied me with the best taste. The sashimi piece was so thinly-sliced that I could see through it. It was so tender like cotton candy which melts away in the mouth. The taste of sashimi usually depends on what sauce you eat with. However, sashimi itself is light and delicate. In addition, it is not as fishy as people who have never eaten it think.

             Recently I can not visit my grandparents, so there is no chance to eat sashimi which is from fish netted at sea. Even though the sashimi at sushi restaurants is not as fresh and chewy as one that I ate on the boat, I am still fond of sashimi. I can not stop thinking about it and live without it.

Whenever I say that my favorite food is beef intestines, almost every foreigner says that they can't believe. Even some people don`t know what intestines are. When I explain what intestines are, many people say it's disgusting. Even they hate my taste.    Yes, beef intestines look disgusting but they are so delicious and they smell so tasty. Some say that intestines are not clean food, but it's not true. They are very clean food because people wash it very strictly. And they have a lot of collagen which is good for women's skin. "You have to drink all of this milk, unless you cannot go back to your home." That was the sentence that teacher always said when I didn't drink the milk which I received from the elementary school. When I was an elementary school student, every student was forced to pay the money for the daily milk once a month, and had to drink them every day. It didn't matter that the students liked it or not. This was the crucial reason that I hate milk and dairy products.

 

When I was young, I didn't hate much drinking milk and eating dairy products. I was a really common kid who usually drank milk. Like other children, I liked flavored milk such as strawberry milk and chocolate milk. However, because of the pressure that I have to drink a white milk everyday in the school, I became to reject drinking milk more often. Finally, when I became a middle school student, I didn't have to drink milk in the school, so I stopped drinking milk after few years. After I enter the university, I knew that it is not good to have deviated food habit as an adult, so I tried to drink some milk but I failed it. That was because I could not bear the smell of it. Also, after I do not eat dairy products for some years, my stomach lost the ability to digest milk.

 

I still never drink white milk, but because of my effort I can eat strawberry flavored yogurt now. Of course I think the day I have to drink milk will come, but for now I really don't want to drink milk. Maybe this fact will not change until there is nothing to eat or drink in the world except for milk products. I will think about it again if that day comes.

Fake-bread

 

 

 

Have you ever seen the bread which is big, and looks like filled up, but has nothing in it? Well, this is a so-called fake-bread. Many people have a kind of food which reminds them the memories of some time in their lives. For me, it's a fake-bread. After about ten years after I was born, my family didn't have much time to spend together comfortably. With the days together, we're busy to make our own goals, and with the days of more leisure, we're parted by some reasons. This makes the memories of my childhood when my family spent times together with pure joy, and the fake-bread to be very precious for me.

 

A fake-bread has originated from China. (It's name in China is kōngxīnbǐng.) It was brought to Korea about 80 years ago. In Korea, it has become less hard and a little smaller than its original version. It has a round shape outside decorated with black sesames. The inner part of it is almost empty except some melted sugar and, sometimes, black sesames spread on inside of the crust. Some people think it's similar to popover in America or Aishu in Egypt though they're much softer than fake-bread. A fake-bread has smell of flour in very tasty way. When a person bites it, one can hear the crunch of it. Actually, it's not easy to bite the bread, because it is hard, big. So I usually break it into pieces before I take a bite.

 

I cannot remember the exact point when I first tried a fake-bread. However, I surely remember how it made me feel comfortable, warm and how I was reassured that I would be happy with my family for a long time by it.

 Eating is a huge part of my life. I love eating. Whatever I do, wherever I go, I always think of what food to eat. For me it is too hard to choose only one food that I strongly like, because each food has its own unique taste. But If I should choose one food I like, I would choose Ramen.

 

 There are quite many types of Ramen these days. Soybean paste Ramen, Curry Ramen, U-dong Ramen, Kim-chi Ramen and so on. I enjoy tasting all of these, but I like classic Ramen the most. The flavor that everybody can enjoy.

Japan has a great variety of Ramen as well. They are quite different from Korean Ramen. Japanese Ramen is little bit greasy because of big chunks of meat they put in. I love that huge piece of pork! On the other hand, Korean Ramen is spicier. I really like both. When I visited Japan on vacation, I ate Ramen more than five times in three days.  

 

Simple, Easy, and Tasty. These are the three big symbols of Ramen. These are the reasons why I like Ramen.  I hope I can eat Ramens all over the world someday.

When asked about a food like I strongly dislike, then I would say without considering mushrooms. Mushrooms are the last things I want to see on a plate, let alone eat it. Some people might wonder why I seriously dislike what sometimes is being considered as a true delicacy. When you, the reader, isn't bored yet with my disgust for mushroom, then please keeping reading to find out the reasons why I have this hate for mushrooms.

Are mushrooms that horrible? Of course they are! First of all, the shape: Some mushrooms look like an Atomic bomb cloud that just has been developed. Looking at the shape alone makes one wonder if it is safe enough to eat mushrooms without any harm to one's health. Also, when eating certain mushrooms, it has this very bland, if not almost boring flavor. Not only that, some other mushrooms have this slippery feeling in one's mouth as if someone is eating an alive fish. Lastly, the main and probably the best reason why mushrooms are my least favourite food is that some mushrooms are so poisonous that it can kill a person in a flash. Thinking of that fact gives me the shivers that by some unfortunate happening some poisonous mushrooms came into my plate and without realizing what my fate will be, I eat them. Considering these three, in my point of view, justified facts to dislike mushrooms should give people a good idea why mushrooms are not likely to be on my top 3 list of favourite food.

             Considering that most people do eat mushrooms without dying, it makes me feel that I should not love mushrooms, but at least should learn to eat it them. Still, when I see those odd shaped vegetables on my plate, I get all kinds of uncomfortable thoughts and feelings in my mind that makes me want to pass what I consider to be my least favourite food.

While I was living at Seoul, I cannot fall asleep. The reason was that I could not find Kongnamul Gukbap, bean sprout soup with rice made by Korean style, anywhere in Seoul that tastes similar to one made in my hometown. So when I visited my hometown Jeonju, I quickly visited a restaurant and ate it before I went my home. I think I couldn't forget the moment. What does this food look like? It is served in Ddukbaegi, Korean bowl for soup. In the bowl, clear and red soup is filled with the dish. A great amount of yellow sprouts are floated on the rice which is hidden under them. I like the food for two reasons. The first reason is that it tastes refreshing after I eat it though though it is very hot and little bit spicy. The more you eat, the more you are addictive. For me, it is difficult to stop eating while eating the food. Though sweats run from the face, I can endure it. It also makes me refresh and warm. After I eat all the food, I feel as warm as I am under the sunshine. That feeling cheers me up and encourages me to do anything. Though my hometown is famous for foods, especially Bibimbap, I think Kongnamul Gukbap is better than it. Kongnmaul Gukbap tastes spicy, hot but refreshing and gives the sense of warmth and refreshment. I hope many people know the attraction of my favorite food.

  The best food in the world? There is nothing to think. Spaghetti is the most

wonderful food on the Earth, especially spaghetti with a tomato sauce. It taste

really awesome. It can get a good combination with every food you put on for

example sea food or meat ball. noodles are very munchy.

  The reason I like the spaghetti is because I've eat it a lot with instant food.

Because of I can make good instant noodle soup, mostly I have to replace it into

the instant spaghetti. That is the reason I love the spaghetti most. There is also

another reason, when I had a travel in Europe, mostly in Italy. We departed Italy

very late and I was very tired. So we went to the nearly restaurant and we

ordered the pizza and spaghetti, which we think the most delicious and famous food

in Italy. Our choice was not wrong! It was the most delicious food I ever had. I

like eating, so I like most of the food, but after this story, spaghetti become my

most favorite food.

  One of the good reason I like the spaghetti is that it gets a good harmony with

pizza too. Spaghetti become more tasty if comes with pizza. The cheese makes

both spaghetti and pizza better. But not all the pizza. I really hate pizza with

pepper. Pepper taste too strong. It hurts pizza's original taste. So I really hate

pizza with pepper.

201001098 Jiwon No   Family   Although there are so many great things in the world that affect my days, I firmly believe that nothing is greater and more important than family. There are two reasons that family is the greatest thing. One reason is that we feel comfortable and released without any concrete reasons when we have a time with our family. For me, whenever I come back home where all of my family members live, I feel happy when I spend time chatting, eating out, watching television and hanging out with them. I don't know exactly why I feel like this. Maybe it comes from faith for my family. Maybe it comes from the sense of protection. But, I think most people share the same feelings with their own family.   The other reason is that we can learn how to love not only our family but also others. As children grew up, they have seen the blind love that provided by their parents, especially mother. People have a tendency to take after those who are closed to them, so they do the same thing that their parents did. In this way, family teaches and conveys love to people. Before I left my hometown and started to live alone in Seoul, I did not know my family is important and precious. Sometimes I wanted to get out of home and hang out with others, though I hardly meet all the family members at the same time. However, when I started to live without any family member, I recognized that family gave me a great amount of things such as the feel of comfortable and the lesson about how to love. The first person who is great is my best friend, Jang Jun Hwa. She is a sophomore in EIT. She is one of the most considerate friends. I love spending time with her. We have similar taste of music, clothing style, food, and people. We also like the same celebrities. It is so good to talk with her. I can always be energetic because of her.

 

Next, the boy name Im Hee Dong. He is a freshman in EIT. He is so funny and creative. He knows many funny things and has many interesting topics. I enjoy the time with him very much. He makes me laugh all the time. Although sometimes he drives me crazy because of his childish behaviors, I like him very much.

 Whereever I go, there is one thing that I never forget to bring with me; my iPod Touch. iPod Touch is my greatest thing, in other words, one of my most important thing. First, I seriously enjoy listening to music when I am at home and when I am out. Listening to music makes me feel alive, happy and joyful, so without music, my daily life would be very boring. Therefore, it is essential for me to listen to music of my favorite singer everyday, especially when I am moving from place to place. My iPod Touch satisfies my need to listen to music very successfully. The day I forget to bring iPod is the worst day and I would feel very depressed and gloomy without listening to music. Moreover, my iPod Touch also has the function of calender, memo and schedule. With Coffee

 

             Americano, latte, cappuccino, espresso…… I have grown very fond of coffee over the years by reason of its flavor. But the main reason I love it is because I have a lot of unforgettable memories regarding coffee. Especially, I will never forget about free coffee which I drank when backpacking with my mother. While traveling with her in New Zealand, we spent a lot of money on drinking coffee and buying coffee beans. Therefore, we decided to stop drinking coffee. One day, we missed the bus. It was all too sudden and we did not know what to do. It was getting dark and we started to feel chilly. So we got a room at a youth hostel first. While we were unpacking our bags, a receptionist knock our door and gave us two free coupons for a cup of coffee. We were so excited about a surprise that we rushed to a coffee shop. We ordered two cups of latte. After a few minutes, we could get them which had a good head of foam and were sprinkled with chocolate powder. We could enjoy it more than ever, for we had stopped drinking coffee for a while. It was not too sweet and not too bitter. Its good taste mingling with soft music made us relieve our fatigue. I can still vividly remember the flavor of coffee and the relaxed ambience of the coffee shop. Now I can not imagine my life without coffee, not only because of its taste but also because of many nice memories. Furthermore, I look forward to great things which coffee will bring me.

SHUTTER ISLAND

 

 

 Shutter Island is the movie released at the beginning of this year. This movie is one of the things which I think are great. Of course, there are some other films that are popular for its cinematic quality and popularity. However, I think Shutter Island succeeded in making something more in itself.

 

 Shutter Island managed to make an appealing story which is about the inner side of the human. I think it is one of its strong points because it's hard to make a good story about mentality. Furthermore, the movie chose a unique theme among them: self-awareness. It asks us whether we can say our belief about ourselves is true through the main character who thinks he's an up-and-coming U.S. marshal, losing his wife by a man named Endrew lades who fired he and his wife's apartment. In the movie, the main character is expressed as a man of justice, who can give up his own chance to revenge to save other people. However, at the end of the movie it comes out that he is actually Endrew lades and the one who killed his wife. Though killing his wife had seemed to be unavoidable for him then, he felt guilty about it and suffered from the difference between his ideal and his reality. Finally, he chose to change his belief about himself. While watching this man, the audience may have a chance to think about the belief they have regarding themselves and whether judging the truth or falsehood of one's belief is worth to do or not.

 

 Not only does the movie ask the audience the questions about their belief, it also gives them a shock by the reversal at the end of it. After they saw the ending, the audience realized what all the strange scenes appeared in the movie are actually meaning. Through this experience, the audience can get the chance to think about another topic, how they see the world. In my case, I was shocked at the fact that I didn't recognize any of the clues, which means I had seen the world very roughly. After then I consciously try to question what looks weird at least more than before.

 

 For it provides people both a lot of things to think and the pleasure to test one's ability to question, I think Shutter Island is a great movie.

The greatest moment for me is when I heard the voice on the phone say "Congratulations! You pass the exam for HUFS!" On hearing that, I just smiled a big smile to myself. The success really encouraged me a lot. I will never forget that moment when I was pressing the buttons on the phone. I was entering a hot line to find out my results in the final examination of HUFS. I remember having a hopeful but anxious feeling in my stomach. However, god seemed to have pulled a prank on me. The most depressing just followed the most inspiring success I have achieved. I was hit by a serious fever, which made me in bed for a whole week. If I hadn't been ill, I could have had a good time with my old friends and family before I come to Korea. I also missed the chance to enjoy a party which all my classmates took part in before we fell apart. What I want to say in the end is that Life, is always filled with sorrow and joy. Don't get vain when you success. Don't lose heart when meeting difficulties.

As beer is almost a universal beverage, it can be enjoyed in most parts of the world. With such flexible characteristics, beer make up to be one of the best things that mankind has ever made. Of the many benefits that beer have, the most commonly cited benefits is that beer can be an important factor in keeping company, and ultimately nothing can ever outrun the pleasant presence of one's friends. Title : Becoming Jane

        I want to write about my favorite movie, "Becoming Jane". The movie is the story of an English female writer, Jane Austen's life and love. She wrote many famous romantic novels like "Pride and Prejudice", "Sense and Sensibility", etc. In her books, Jane Austen always finish her writings with happy endings, and her female characters have confident, achievable personality. The books were enjoyable, but I thought they have some non-realistic features.

        Like her lovely characters in her book, she was a confident person who really liked writing. However, in the movie "Becoming Jane", we can see that her love actually was not that a great one. In the case of her love, she got troubled in between the love she wanted and the stable marriage. She chose the former one, but finally she failed to marry with her lover. I think the process of her failure in love is very realistic, so I love this movie although it doesn't' ended with happy endings. Experts says that this failure was the big turning point of her life as the writer, and I think this point makes her novel more attractive.

Like our life, soccer has its own goal which is scoring goals. The efforts to score goals are very different individually. In order to achieve goals, every player has to play their own role and do their best. Rap music is not just big but great that it's listened to by many individuals around the world. It is listened by people of different races, genders, and ages. This hip hop musical genre is categorized into some features that include hardcore rap, soft core rap, classic rap, underground rap, etc. The list goes on and on. Individuals have the luxury to listen, select and choose from a vast list of rap music.

 

Some of the famous artists many people enjoy listening to are DMX, Jay Z, and Eminem. Each artists have a unique character and style that appeal to fans but all rap artists have something in common found in their music that attracts many individuals to tune in. In almost all rap music instrumentalists and a sampled break beat form the backbone of a track. Also, a chorus range from atonal shouting to a sweet melody make up the components of rap music. These characteristics is what some people prefer to listen too, something they enjoy.

 

One of the main reasons why many people favor rap is because the music and lyrics portray a story which people can personally relate to. The lyrics tell a message about love, hate, crime, and so on. Also some lyrics touch topics on poverty and racism. Such topics people at some point in their life have had a similar experience or have dealt with. It may be the diverse features of rap music and the intensity of the beat and rhythm of the rap that have people greatly enthused by this genre of music.

Aren't donuts great? Donuts come in all kinds of shapes, sizes, tastes and colours that make them a great snack. However, the best donut amongst all donuts is the plain classic sugar donut. Its round shape with the hole in the middle makes it easy to recognize and makes the dough perfectly evenly fried for consumption. The gold brown colour of the donut mixes well with the snow white sugar colour, which makes them even harder to resist. Then, when taking a big bite from it, the mixture of donut bread and sweet sugar makes it a perfect combination that tastes like even wanting for more. Since a sugar donut is easily to digest, it's great as a snack during a break.
