A couple of days ago, the subway brawl video spread quickly on the Internet. The video from Youtube spread in a second. Many people watched the video and even it was shown on the news. It is about small brawl on the subway between an old woman and a young girl.  Many people were interested in it because it was quite rare situation for Koreans. Because of Confucianism, all Koreans have respected old people. But after watch the video, many people were shocked because it was far different from Korean culture. If a foreigner watch that video, they may not think of Korean`s respecting old people culture. But, still there are a lot of young Korean people who respect old people. In our daily life, we can see them often.            In our daily life, we can see many kind young people respect weak old people in various places. On the subway, as opposed to the video, even though there are seats for old people, a lot of young people give their seats to the old. It`s not mandatory, it`s natural for them. Also you can see exactly the same situation on the bus. Walking the street, you can see the young people help old people. For example, the young carry old people`s heavy bags or luggage, or take old people to their destination. They do that because the old are weaker than them. And almost all of them look completely polite and courteous.            Some people say that Korean culture of respecting old people seems to become faint recently. They also say that Korean young people don`t respect old people anymore. But we can see many polite young Korean people in our daily life. On the subway, bus, and street. Of course at our home, schools, and company. Judging from these facts, Korea is still the country of courteous people in the East, and the young people are still polite and respectful for old people.
