Wonderful teacher first draft 200901051

We meet a lot of teachers in our life, but one particular teacher from my second year middle school is still fresh in my memories. She was my economy teacher who taught me the importance of economy. Also because of her my love for economy used to start.

My second year middle school economy teacher taught me the different important points of economy. Her teaching method was not special or it didn't have some special trick to it. However she was very patient in explaining the economy terms that most students didn't understand well. For example, during her first lessons she taught us, we had a hard time to understand the value of currency. Suddenly our teacher used to bring out a whole much of bank notes and she start to explain the value of currency by show us the different bank notes and their value. Thanks to that many students started to understand what the value of currency meant. Another good example of how well our economy teacher good explain something is that once instead of writing down the theory of consumer VS producer on the black board, she started drawing the whole economic cycle of consumer VS producer. The strangest part is that she didn't write a single word on the black board, but everyone understood what the teacher was trying to teach us. There are many other examples on how good of a teacher she is, but the most valuable lesson she ever gave was the first quote, on our first lesson she said. She said, those who want to be rich and live a wealthy life listen and learn. Surprisingly it was very effective because unlike for other classes, the students really paid attention.

All by all, considering the facts about my economy teacher, it reminds me what my father always used to say about good teachers. He always said that good teachers are like good salesmen who are able to sell dirt as if it was pure gold. With that my father meant that teachers should be able to sell their subject matter to their students as if they were selling dirt as if it was pure gold.

    Wonderful teacher second draft 200901051

During my High School years there were plenty of good teachers, but one particular teacher from my second year High School is still fresh in my memories. She was my economy teacher who taught me the importance of economy. It’s because of her that my passion for economy used to start.
My economy teacher’s teaching method was not special nor it had some special trick to it. However she was very patient in explaining the economic terms which sounded for most students as a foreign language. An example of her teaching method is that during her first lessons we had a hard time to understand the value of currency. Suddenly my teacher used to bring out a whole much of bank notes and she start to explain the value of currency by show us the different bank notes and their value. Thanks to that many students started to understand what the value of currency meant. Another good example of how well my economy teacher could explain the economy is that instead of writing down the theory of consumer VS producer on the black board, she started drawing the whole economic cycle of consumer VS producer without writing a single word on the blackboard. Nonetheless, everyone understood what she was trying to teach us. Still, the most valuable lesson she ever gave was the first quote, on the first lesson she said. She said, those who want to be rich and live a wealthy life, listen and learn. Surprisingly it was very effective because unlike for other classes, the students really paid attention.
When thinking of my economy teacher, it reminds me of something my father used to say about good teachers. He always said that good teachers are like good salesmen who are able to sell dirt as if it was pure gold. Maybe my economics teacher was such a person, someone who knew to sell dirt as if it was gold to the students.
