Week 6 assignment: writing an essay about wonderful teacher

Can you remember the time that you just entered elementary school? Many people answered at this question saying "No." However, I would say, "Yes" due to Mr. Ku, my homeroom teacher at first grade in elementary school. His name is Hichan Ku, about 50 years old at that time. He was tall as a giraffe and thin as a twig of a tree. He usually smiled broadly to his students. Mr. Ku is my real teacher among the teachers that I have met.

In my memory, he was warm-hearted, passionate and children-liking teacher. It was the field day that I found passion and sense of children-liking mind. At the time, I was bored out of my skull because we lost all the game. There was nothing to do instead of sitting on the chair in the classroom. To break out the boring situation, I tried to slip through the space between the back and the seat of a chair. My legs, back, and chest succeeded but my head was completely caught. I wanted to deny the truth that I had faced, but I being nervous was the only thing that I could during the moment. Waiting someone to rescue me and thinking 'What if I couldn't be rescued?', I was worried about my future. Then Mr. Ku quickly came in to the classroom with strong, long, metal pipe and removed the back which blocked me without hesitance. I felt not only the freedom and relieved but also his warm-heart and passion to me.

Though I met a great amount of wonderful and great teachers, I would choose Mr. Ku if someone ask me to pick the best teacher. He had proper traits such as passion, love, warm heart as well as proficiency to teach little kids. Though I couldn't keep in touch with him, the time when he taught me won't be forgotten.

  1. I can't imagine how tall your teacher is and you had very dangerous time. What a nice teacher he is. I can definately know why he is the best teacher in your life. Your hook makes the writting both very intersting and show how the story will go. But I just wonder that it will be more nice if your first sentence of the second paragraph goes to the first paragraph.

What I like most in your writhing is the way of describing danger situation you faced. It is great and so realistic.
You wrote about your best teacher in your life.
I like your hook because it really attracts people and makes them read.
But I think you need more details about your teacher. I you have written more details, it would be really interesting. Of course it was really interesting though.

Week 6 assignment: revising an essay about wonderful teacher

Can you remember the time that you have just entered elementary school? Many people answered to this question saying “No.” However, I would say, “Yes” due to Mr. Ku, my homeroom teacher on first grade in elementary school. His name is Hichan Ku, about 50 years old at the time. He was tall as a giraffe and thin as a twig of a tree. He usually smiled broadly at his students even they made mistakes and troubles. He also saved my life when I was first grade. So I think Mr. Ku is my true teacher among the teachers that I have met. As
far as I remember, he was warm-hearted, passionate and children-liking teacher.

It was the field day that I found passion and sense of children-liking mind which factors belonged to Mr. Ku. At the time, I was bored out of my skull because we lost all the game. There was nothing to do instead of sitting on the chair in the classroom and drawing pictures. To break out the boring situation, I tried to slip through the space between the back and the seat of a chair. My legs, back, and chest easily succeeded but my head was completely caught. I wanted to escape from the reality that I had faced, but being nervous, I was able to do the only thing during the moment. Waiting for someone who would rescue my life and thinking ‘What if I couldn’t be rescued?’, I was worried about my future that I would do everything
with the chair. Just then, Mr. Ku quickly came into the classroom with strong, long, metal pipe and tried to removed the back which blocked me, without hesitance. It was very difficult job, because his face became red right away. Finally, it was broken and I had have to study on the back-removed chair for a week. At the moment, I felt not only the freedom and relieved but also his warm-heart and passion to dote his students, including me.

Though I met a great amount of wonderful and impressive teachers, I choose Mr. Ku if someone ask me to pick up the best teacher. He had proper traits such as passion, love, warm heart as well as proficiency to teach little kids. In my case, I got straight As at mid-term exams. Though I couldn’t keep in touch with him now, the time when he taught me won’t be forgotten.
