P78, The first time I met someone who became important to me (first draft)

When you first met your friends who are very important to you now, did they give you a good first impression? In my case, strangely, I didn't get that good first impression from plenty of them. I want to write about the first meeting with one of them, Seo-Mi-hyun.

I met Mi-hyun when I was in the second year of high school, when I was seventeen. Fortunately, I met really good classmates in my middle school years and the first year of high school. They gave me quite good first impression as well. However, when I entered new class for the second year, there were just girls who I didn't have that much good impression so I didn't want to meet as classmates. Of course, that was just my prejudice, they were so good. Anyway, at first time, I didn't like my class much and saw almost everything distorted. Mi-hyun was a kind of girl who has her own obvious supervision and participates in class actively. Teachers also liked her. I hate all the classes and never participated in class. Also, at that time, everything seemed distorted to me. It was no wonder that I didn't like Mi-hyun. So, I didn't get close with her for about half of semester. And one day, one of my classmates faced with big trouble personally. I saw that Mi-hyun cared about her so sincerely and worked for her even though they were not even very close.

After that, I changed my mind and approached to her, and we became very close.

Now, she is so important to me. She is a part of my life. She has a huge impact on my life and I like her very much. I am so pleased when I am with her, and she is a real support, too. I really appreciated the tie like this that I could miss if I did wrong decision.

  1. 1. What I like about this piece of writing is the introduction. Your Question made me think about my case. The first impressions of my friends are quite a bad as well.
    2. Your main point seems to be your friend who gave you a bad first impression, but became an important person to you.
    3. "everything seemed distorted to me" struck me as poweful, because I have a prejudice as well when I hate something.
    4. I would like to know what kind of big trouble your classmate faced and how Mi-hyun solved it.
